Clair de Lune

This song is about birth to me.
And so at midnight, in the early hours of Friday, May 16th, 2025, I released my own unique vocal version of Claude Debussy’s classic piano piece Clair de Lune.
I’d arranged the entire piece using only my voice—no instruments.
The idea was born before and during the birth of my daughter in the early winter of 2021, when the melody kept looping in my head.
Since then, I’ve been slightly obsessed with transforming the piece into a vocal interpretation.
It’s my most challenging musical project to date—over six minutes of wordless harmonies moving between silky passages and crystal-clear tones.
The piece contains highs and lows, strength and fragility—all performed solely with my voice in multiple layers.
